Dr Brumit is a Clinical Adjunct Instructor at the University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio Dental School, Department of Dental Diagnostic Science. She is a Team captain on the Dallas County Mass Disaster Team, a member of the Bexar County Forensic Dental Team, the DMORT Region VI team, and served as a member of the WTC Dental Identification team in New York. She was also deployed as part of the Dental Identification Team following Hurricane Katrina. Dr. Brumit serves as an additional faculty member to the Southwest Symposium. She is a consultant to the Dallas County Medical Examiners office, the Bexar County Medical Examiners office, the Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE), Child Protective Services, Kenyon Worldwide Disaster Management Specialists, and the Ft. Worth Police Department.
Dr. Brumit is a graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry. She is in private practice in Dallas, Texas where she has practiced since 1984. She is a Diplomate with the American Board of Forensic Odontology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a Fellow of the American Orthodontic Society, and a member of the American Society of Forensic Odontology, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, the Dallas County Dental Society, and the Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentists.
